To Whom It May Concern:

I am a gorilla, you may be surprised to learn
And, although my words may bite and burn
With this letter, your respect I hope to earn



Silverback Jeremy is a mountain gorilla who lives in Africa. If he could write us a letter, what do you think he would say?



Mountain gorillas are strong and powerful but usually gentle and quite shy.


However, silverbacks will protect the group under his care, even at the cost of his own life.

An Elephant's Advice


Tun Tun is a baby elephant
Carefree, healthy and very intelligent

And he’s already more than a metre tall



In the past century alone, 90% of African elephants have been wiped out - mainly for their ivory.  During the past decade, growing demand for ivory has led to a dramatic increase in illegal elephant poaching in several parts of Africa.


It is estimated that a staggering 20,000 African elephants are killed each year  - approximately 55 every day.
